Recycling cancelled until weather improves Jan 2013

posted 23 Jan 2013 04:06 by Hatton Park Updates

Here is a message about recycling from Warwick District Council:

"Due to the road conditions we have decided to suspend all waste collections today, including bulk waste collections.

As it is unlikely to improve over the coming days we have decided to cancel green bins and kerbside collections for the rest of this week. Customers are advised to present their green bins and kerbside boxes / bags on the next scheduled recycling collection day.

This will allow us to focus all our resources on the collection of grey bins and sacks as soon as conditions allow. Customers are advised to present their grey bins and sacks as normal and we collect as soon as possible.

We will keep you informed as the position changes."

Hampton Magna Running Club - Every Friday at 6pm

posted 27 Dec 2012 00:23 by Mail Account

Routes take in the fantastic countryside around the parish of Budbrooke as well as tracks, country lanes leading further afield to Beausale, Kenilworth, Norton Lindsay, Hatton, Wedgnock. You will find details of recent routes and training sessions in the Blog section on the website (http://www.hamptonmagnarun.co.uk/).

Check out the Images page to see pictures of the local area in which we run.

The run/jog sessions are informal and can be varied to accommodate runners of different abilities. Just let us know how far you’d like to run and perhaps an idea on pace and we can incorporate into the plans for the weekly runs. Currently Friday sessions are shorter than the Sunday morning sessions – in which we extend routes to take in a wider area.

The Warwick Castle Half Marathon, announced for March 2013 is to be ran very close and on some of the training routes we run on.
